We are ALWAYS working on improving our Instagrams and we can't be the only ones. We have been to New York City countless times and we can confidently say we found the top 5 Instagram locations in SOHO! If you are headed to the city any time soon then be sure to check out these locations to step up your city pics.
Last week I took a trip to Los Angeles, California for the first time ever! LA is such an iconic city with so many great sights to see but, it can be very overwhelming given its large size. So before my trip, I asked people for recommendations, read blogs, went through instagram bucket list accounts, and watched YouTube videos. From there I gathered my own list of all the things I really wanted to see and do while in LA.
It just so happens that most of these things were free or cost very little to do.
That's why I decided to write about everything I did on my trip and show you how affordable it can be if you're thinking about taking a trip or have a trip planned in the future. One thing I will mention is that we rented a car. I would 100% recommend doing this, as it makes getting around the city so much more convenient. The only inconvenience of having a car is sometimes parking can be a bit costly, so I will list out parking prices to the best of my knowledge throughout the blog based on the area.
Anyway, for all my friends that are also balling on a budget, check out my top 10 inexpensive things to do in LA.
I LOVE food, like the thing I was most excited for when visiting Hawaii was the food. Okay, that might not be true, but I was really excited for the food and I am happy to report that I was not unsatisfied with anywhere I ate. I did a lot of research to know some of the must go places in Oahu, but a lot of these places I just happened to stumble upon. In no particular order, here are the top 5 places to eat in Oahu, Hawaii.
If you follow us on Instagram, then you know that I recently got back from a trip to HAWAII!!! I had such an amazing week exploring Oahu and found some of the most breathtaking sites. I did A LOT of research before heading to Hawaii, so I could find the best & cheapest things to do on the island. I loved every single thing I ended up doing, so I wanted to share everything with my chic beaches so you guys don't have to do the hours of research I did if you are planning a trip to Oahu in the future!
I also wanted to mention that I did rent a car while staying in Hawaii and I would for sure recommend it because it offers a lot more freedom when exploring the island!
Cape May is my all time favorite place to visit in all of New Jersey. From the fresh smell of the salty sea to the unique boutiques and rustic shopping center, Cape May just makes you feel like you're home.
Visiting Cape May has been a tradition in my family for as long as I can remember. Since I'm from North Jersey, it is definitely a hike to get all the way down there, as it's exit 0 on the Garden State Parkway. If you are not familiar with New Jersey, its typically a 3-4 hour car ride for me, depending on summer shore traffic.
With that said, we decided to spend the week of July 4th down there since we all had some time off from work. Being the type of person I am, I decided to really focus on self care and relaxation; and Cape May just so happened to be the best place for this. Don't get me wrong, I definitely had my fun too, but I did try to focus on finding things to do that would benefit my mental and physical health.
Before jumping into this blog post, I just wanted to mention that we rented out a 2 bedroom apartment right on the beach as opposed to staying in a hotel. This was great because it was in a very convenient location, we all had our own space/rooms, and a full kitchen to cook meals, rather than eating out everyday for a week straight. The place we stayed at was called 'Morning Star Villa'.
It's officially summer, which means its BEACH TIME! Over the weekend, Alex and I hit up our fav beach in New Jersey, Belmar. We decided to take our moms and show them all our favorite places to eat and now we're going to share those places with you.
Looking for a cool weekend trip? Well your in luck. This past weekend I decided to surprise my boyfriend, Nick, with a birthday trip to Boston. We had both been wanting to go there for quite some time so I decided to rip the band-aid off and just book a trip for us.
Boston is such a cool city because it's rich with American history. You're guaranteed to learn new things just by walking around.
Now, I'm no history buff, so don't @ me if I mess anything up, but in this blog I'm just going to be talking about the things we did, the places we ate, and where we stayed.
